Yuki Yasui wins L'Oréal Professional Color & Style Trophy 2021 in Cutting Award

Our Creative Director Yuki Yasui has done it again.
Following his remarkable win at NAHA (North American Hairstyling Awards) in haircutting category last year, this year he wins the renowned L'Oréal Professional Color & Style Trophy 2021 in Cutting Award. He was a runner-up for the same competition last year and he decided to come back even stronger.
Needless to say, his master cutting skills and true talent in creative designing made it possible for him to earn such a noble award.

We are so excited to announce we are now back & open!
We would like you to know we are determined to do all we can to ensure the best and safest experience for all our clients and ourselves.
Here are some of the COVID-19 guidelines that we will be applying:
Upon arrival, please call the salon or text your stylist to check in. We will be checking your temperature with a touchless thermometer and a mask is required for entry. Please arrive alone.
Our stylists will be wearing a face mask and a face shield at all times.
All work areas and tools will be cleaned and disinfected after each service so please be patient with us while we do the cleaning. Routine cleaning will be done throughout the day and after each client.
Social distancing is to be maintained throughout the salon and will be seated 6ft away from other guests. Please know that our reservation capacity will be kept below 50%.

We at A GRAND UNION, are very proud to announce that Yuki Yasui, Creative Director at our Flatiron salon, is the winner of North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) 2020 in Haircutting category. Needless to say, NAHA is considered by many as the beauty industry’s most prestigious competition.
Yuki has been with us since day one of our Flatiron salon opening in January 2020 and he is excited to fully utilize his creativity to realize his clients’ wishes when they come to the salon.
